Mrs. Beer

Kindergarten

Welcome to the new school year! My name is Jessica Beer and I am thrilled to be your children’s Kindergarten Teacher this year! It is my goal to create a safe and nurturing classroom where children can expand their love of learning, their general knowledge, and their interest in reaching out to the world. This year we will be exploring new subjects, discovering exciting stories, and working on fun projects together. My goal is to create a family of learners who are supported and encouraged by each other. I believe that
collaborating with families is essential to a child’s success at school.

For the last two decades, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with students in Grades K-6 in both private and public schools. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Asian Studies and International Politics from Wheaton College, a Master’s Degree in Education from American International College, a teaching license, SEI Endorsement, and have several years’ experience working in Special Education and with English Language Learners.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two adult children in the great outdoors and at the beach. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed living and traveling throughout Asia and Europe, attending my children’s extracurricular activities, camping, collecting shells, watching sunsets, and exploring National Parks. I also have a passion for children’s literature and hope to foster a deep appreciation for books with your
children.

Please feel free to contact me throughout the school year. I can be reached by email at jbeer@hellenicaa.org and will also be setting up ClassDojo which will be the easiest way to reach me. Let’s all gear up for an amazing year!

Warm regards,
Mrs. Beer
