Mrs. Pamela Murphy
Second Grade
Mrs. Murphy is a proud alumna of the Hellenic American Academy, where she has many fond memories of the teachers and programs that shaped her early education. She has been a dedicated member of the HAA staff since 2000, serving in various roles as a second-grade teacher, fourth-grade teacher, and preschool teacher. She played a key role in the development of the Academy’s current Preschool program.
Mrs. Murphy holds a degree in Human Development and Elementary Education from Lesley University and earned her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Science Education from the University of Lowell in 2005. Her deep love for teaching and her commitment to the school’s mission of preserving and passing on the Greek language, culture, and Orthodox religion are evident in her classroom. Mrs. Murphy sets high standards for her students and enriches their learning by connecting both Greek and English in all academic areas. Above all, she truly loves the Academy and is passionate about being part of its vibrant community.
