Third Grade

Donna has been a dedicated educator in the Lowell Public School system for over two decades and joined Hellenic American Academy in 2020. She began her teaching career as a special education teacher at Greenhalge Elementary School, before moving on to the Brady Alternative School, Lowell High School, and the Wang Middle School. Throughout her career in Lowell, Donna has been fortunate to take part in numerous professional development opportunities, including Wilson Reading Certification, Orton-Gillingham training, WIDA, and MELA-O training.

She holds a Master of Science degree from Rivier College and has developed a No Child Left Behind initiative while taking comparative education courses through the Harvard Extension School in Cambridge, MA. In recognition of her expertise, Donna was selected by her former administrators to mentor paraprofessionals in their path to becoming special education teachers through Fitchburg State College.
