Mrs. Nicole Sheppard
Pre-School
Nicole is a Southern New Hampshire University graduate with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education. She has been teaching for the past 11 years prior to coming to HAA and is excited to be the new Pre-K coordinator and Pre-K teacher. When Nicole is not at school, she loves to spend time with her family. Her son and daughter keep her very busy between school, baseball, and dance!
Ms. Lori Peters
Kindergarten
Ms. Lori Peters joined the HAA staff in 2017. Her son Jacob also attended HAA and is now in 7th grade at the Immaculate Conception School in Lowell. She is thrilled to be at HAA again this year. She is passionate about teaching, helping her students, and watching them grow and thrive. She has been teaching for over 8 years. Ms. Peters has specialized in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Fisher College in Boston, MA. She lives in Dracut, MA along with her son and loves traveling, hiking, and the beach.
Ms. Kayla Chan
Pre-School
Kayla joined the HAA staff in 2018. She graduated from Greater Lowell Technical High School in Tyngsboro, MA with an early childhood education certification. She also earned her associate’s in Elementary Education from Middlesex Community College. She is currently attending the University of Lowell to attain her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. She has always loved working with the children and has done so almost her entire life in different capacities. Kayla also helps with tutoring and after-school care. In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and at the beach.
